Please join us this February for our third annual Transgender Speaker Series. This year’s series is “The Yin and Yang of Becoming” and we have an incredible set of speakers who will take us farther than we’ve ever gone before! We’ll also have talk-back sessions after our services on February 8 and February 15, and a community potluck after our service on February 22. All are welcome!

First out transperson to be ordained in the United Church of Christ. Bran leads the Wednesday Worker Bible Study for Campbell United Church of Christ.
Lance Moore – 10:30am on February 8, 2009
Founder and Leader of the South Bay Transmen FTM and Questioning Social Support Group at the Billy DeFrank Community Center. Following the service, there will be a talk-back session with a chance to chat with Lance and ask questions.
Nori Herras-Tejero – 10:30am on February 15, 2009
Transgender and HIV community activist and advocate. Leader of the Transwomen’s Support Group at the Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center. Following the service, there will be a talk-back session with a chance to chat with Nori and ask questions.
The Honorable Rev. Victoria Kolakowski –

First person to have a trans-friendly article published in an academic theological journal. First out transperson to be appointed as a judge. Following the service, there will be a community potluck.
